Tucked below the ground floor, Tetsu Basement level offers an Omakase-only menu focusing on whole meat, fish and poultry prepared in a variety of cooking techniques.The multi-course menu will rotate on a seasonal basis and guests can expect Chef Masa behind the counter most evenings. A 10-seat bubinga wood counter can accommodate up to 10, and guests can experience the theatrics of our chefs cooking from an open kitchen. Tetsu Basement offers an extensive list of cocktails and wine and guests are encouraged to bring in their favorite bottles for a corkage fee of $95 per bottle.

The price for dinner at Tetsu Basement is $350 per person, not including gratuity, beverages and tax. Please allow approximately two hours for dinner and dress code is casual and comfortable.

Counter seating for up to 4 guests and table seating are available. Reservations can be made by calling 212.207.2370 or by emailing info@tetsunyc.com.

A credit card is required to book a reservation. Should you need to cancel, change your reservation date or alter the guest count, please let us know up to 48 hours in advance to avoid a $100 per person charge. For parties of 5 or more, cancellations must be made at least one week prior to the reservation date to avoid losing your deposit. If a deposit has not been received, a $100 per person charge will be made to the credit card on file.
