Tucked below the ground floor, Tetsu Basement offers a tasting menu focusing on meat, seafood and poultry prepared in a variety of cooking techniques. The eight to ten-course menu will continuously rotate on a seasonal basis and highlight fresh local ingredients as well as specialty items from Japan. A 22-foot-long Bubinga wood counter can accommodate 10 seats where guests can experience the theatrics of our chefs cooking from an open kitchen. For more intimate dining, our round tables can accommodate up to five guests. Large parties are encouraged to sit at our rectangle tables that can seat 12 to 24 guests. Tetsu Basement offers an extensive list of cocktails and wine.
The price for dinner at Tetsu Basement is $350 per person, not including gratuity, beverages and tax. Please allow approximately two hours for dinner and dress code is casual and comfortable.
Hours + Reservations
Counter seating for up to 4 guests and table seating are available. Reservations can be made by calling 212.207.2370 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
A credit card is required to book a reservation. Should you need to cancel, change your reservation date or alter the guest count, please let us know up to 48 hours in advance to avoid a $100 per person charge. For parties of 5 or more, cancellations must be made at least one week prior to the reservation date to avoid losing your deposit. If a deposit has not been received, a $100 per person charge will be made to the credit card on file.
